The Rocky Mountain Lobos lost against the Broomfield Eagles back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. Rocky Mountain fell 55-45 to Broomfield.
When it comes to explaining why Rocky Mountain lost, one person who can't be blamed is Morgen Delap. Despite the final result, she scored 11 points along with five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Kenna Wagner, who scored five points along with seven assists and five steals.
Broomfield found their leader in underclassman Paige Gilpatrick, who scored 14 points along with nine rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Gilpatrick has scored all season. Ej Harper was another key contributor, scoring 18 points.
