The Normal West Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their fourth straight loss. They were beaten by Danville 69-35. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat Normal West has suffered yet this season.
Normal West lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Isaiah Robinson, who scored seven points along with six assists and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Mike Zaleski, who scored six points.
Normal West has been struggling recently, as they've lost ten of their last 12 matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-17 record this season. As for Danville, their win bumped their record up to 8-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Normal West will take on Peoria Notre Dame at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Danville, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Manual at 7:00 p.m. on January 26th. Manual is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
