They took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-12 win over the Newton County Academy Generals. Andrew Robinson helped out on the ground, rushing for 109 yards and a rushing touchdown.
Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something River Oaks proved: they limited Newton County Academy to a paltry 2.4 yards per carry. The Mustangs didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 11.4.
