Mountainair have been homebodies their last two matches, but they are heading out on Friday. They take on Menaul at 7:00 PM. Mountainair have bulldozed their previous five opponents, so Menaul might have their hands full.
Mountainair put the finishing touches on their 6th blowout victory of the season last Friday. Everything came up roses for them against Foothill as the squad secured a 52-0 win.the rankings were on Mountainair's side, but they didn't forecast quite such a lopsided result
Meanwhile, if Menaul were riding high off their 50-0 takedown of Navajo Pine two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Menaul fell just short of Magdalena by a score of 20-22.
Mountainair's victory lifted them to 6-1 while Menaul's defeat dropped them down to 2-3. Mountainair have been dynamite on the offensive side of the ball, averaging 49.14 points per game. We'll see if Menaul can find some way to disarm them.
