Zach Cartrette posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Wednesday. He struck out 13 batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). He was dominant the last time he took on River Mill back in March of 2024, so they probably should've seen this coming. Cartrette also tossed a walk, which is notable because Chatham Charter is 5-2 when he allows at most one walk, but 4-5 otherwise.
