Torres was led to victory by Allen Hernandez and Oscar Gonzalez. Hernandez scored 13 points, while Gonzalez scored 15 points. Hernandez is trending in the right direction, as he's improved his point production for three games straight. Another player making a difference was Anthony Fierro, who scored eight points.
Torres' victory bumped their record up to 4-14. As for Elizabeth, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.
Torres will head out on the road to challenge the Gladiators at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Marquez's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last nine games. As for Elizabeth, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Nighthawks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
