Meanwhile, Waverly can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They were the clear victor by a 58-35 margin over Hastings. The contest was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point Waverly had established a 22 point advantage.

Lincoln Northwest dropped their record down to 1-17 with that defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road. Those losses could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 23.5 points per game.
