Baseball Game Preview: Lamar Silver Foxes vs. Lee Central Stallions

For the second straight game, Lamar will face off against Lee Central. The Silver Foxes will be playing at home against the Stallions at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.

Lamar is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They put the hurt on Lee Central with a sharp 24-8 victory on Tuesday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Silver Foxes as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Barr scored three runs and stole two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances, while Jackson scored four runs and stole four bases while going 2-for-4. Barr has become a key player for Lamar: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two stolen bases, but 4-6 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Aiden Blackmon, who scored two runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances.

Lamar always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .641. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
