The Sandy Valley Sidewinders are ranked highly in their home state, and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Beaver Dam Diamondback. Sandy Valley blew past Beaver Dam 40-16. The result was nothing new for Sandy Valley, who have now won five contests by 22 points or more so far this season.
Sandy Valley got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Deivi Pedraza out in front who rushed for 64 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Tage Colon, who rushed for 85 yards and a touchdown on only eight carries.
Sandy Valley's win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Beaver Dam, they now have a losing record at 3-4.
Sandy Valley will head out on the road to face off against Tonopah at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Tonopah will be looking to keep their four-game home win streak alive. Beaver Dam does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
