Blackfoot is on a 13-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Bonneville is on a three-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Broncos will host the Bees at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Blackfoot is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They were the clear victors by a 25-1 margin over Century on Monday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.
Peyton Taylor was a major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April of 2024.

Meanwhile, Bonneville's rock-solid pitchers showed up for the team's third consecutive shutout on Friday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Shelley an 18-0 shutout.
Like Blackfoot, Bonneville also got a great game from a two-way player: Greyson Martin. He pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Martin was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-1. He also put up a triple, which was his first of the season.
In other batting news, Bonneville got a massive performance out of Jackson Ropp, who scored three runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Tyson Christensen, who went 3-for-5 with one triple, one run, and one double.
Bonneville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .575. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Shelley only posted an OBP of .211.
Blackfoot's victory bumped their record up to 7-2. As for Bonneville, their win bumped their record up to 8-2.
Blackfoot beat Bonneville 6-3 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Broncos repeat their success, or do the Bees have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
