 Deana Linares spent all nine innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered two  runs (both of which were unearned)  on eight hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in seven consecutive appearances.
 On the hitting side, Danville secured the  win behind a pair of hitters. One of them was  Kendall Rannenbarger, who  went 2-for-3 with one  home run, three  runs,  and one  stolen base. That  stolen base was  Rannenbarger's first of the season.  Paisley Bean was another,  going 2-for-4 with two  RBI.
Meanwhile, Georgetown-Ridge Farm came up short against Armstrong on Monday and fell  11-7.
