The Fort LeBoeuf Bison can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They rang in the new year with a 52-44 victory over Harbor Creek. This was payback for Fort LeBoeuf, who suffered a 59-40 loss the last time these two teams met.
Harbor Creek lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Braylen Wilson, who dropped a double-double on 13 points and 15 rebounds. Wilson is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last four games he's played. Another player making a difference was Tucker Chwatek, who scored 15 points.
Fort LeBoeuf now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Harbor Creek, they have traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fort LeBoeuf and Cathedral Prep will face off at 7:15 p.m. on January 9th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. One thing working in Cathedral Prep's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last five games. As for Harbor Creek, they will head out on the road to face off against McDowell at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. McDowell will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
