The home team had won the previous three meetings between Heritage and Salem, and Heritage kept the tradition alive. The Patriots blew past the Seminoles 3-0 on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Patriots have posted against the Seminoles since September 22, 2017.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Heritage was: they took every set by at least 11 points. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-12, 25-14.

The win got Heritage back to even at 2-2. As for Salem, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Heritage wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 defeat against Fayette County on the 14th. Hopefully Salem paid attention to the Patriots' match: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
