The Pikesville Panthers will take on the Eastern Tech Mavericks at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Pikesville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.1 runs per game this season.
Pikesville came out on top against Sparrows Point on Wednesday thanks in part to the team's impressive six-run second inning. The Panthers walked away with a 12-8 win over the Pointers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.
Ethan Holaday made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out ten batters over 5.2 innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off two hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in April of 2025. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-4 with three RBI and two runs. He has become a key player for Pikesville: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least two runs, but 1-4 otherwise.
