Gilbert Ramirez posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out eight batters over four innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances.
