The Sandpoint Bulldogs had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.5 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They really took it to East Valley for the full four quarters, racking up a 80-14 victory on the road. With Sandpoint ahead 47-10 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Sandpoint got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jordyn Tomco out in front who scored 22 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 steals. Aliya Strock was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 3 steals.
Sandpoint's victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for East Valley, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Sandpoint will take on Coeur d'Alene at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in Coeur d'Alene's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests.
