Mechanicsville proved they can win big last Monday (they won by seven) and on Tuesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Midlothian Trojans. Winning may never get old, but the Mustangs sure are getting used to it with their fourth in a row.

Mechanicsville pushed their record up to 6-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Midlothian, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mechanicsville will take on Henrico at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be the Mustangs' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Midlothian, they will challenge Cosby at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
