Oak Creek was handed a heart-breaking two-run defeat in their last match, but they sure didn't let that happen against Union Grove on Tuesday. The Knights were the clear victors by a 9-0 margin over the Broncos. The Knights might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by eight runs or more this season.

Oak Creek got a massive performance out of Ana Menden, who went 1-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most runs Menden has posted over her last ten games. The team also got some help courtesy of Macy Blooming, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with two runs and one RBI.

With the win, Oak Creek broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 14-6. As for Union Grove, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-6.

Oak Creek and Union Grove should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. The Knights will square off against Indian Trail at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday with a big rank advantage (16 vs. 73). Meanwhile, Union Grove (ranked 34th) will meet Burlington (ranked 124th) at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
