After having lost a blowout in their previous game against School Without Walls, McKinley Tech was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. Cole Smith was incredible, scoring two runs and stealing five bases while going 2-for-3. McKinley Tech is undefeated when Smith posts two or more stolen bases, but 1-2 otherwise. The team also got some help courtesy of Menelik Farmer, who scored two runs while going 1-for-2.
The victory was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 4-2. As for Phelps Architecture, Construction & Engineering, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-3.
