The Central Linn Cobras will face off against the Regis Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Central Linn put up the most runs they have all season on Friday. They walked away with a 25-22 win over Culver. The Cobras haven't had any issues with the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.
The team relied heavily on Lilly Diaz, who got on base in five of her seven plate appearances with one home run, four stolen bases, and four RBI. Those RBI marked the first that she has brought in this season. Kayla Moore was another key player, going 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI.
Central Linn always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .673. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Regis got the win against Monroe on Monday by a conclusive 22-7. Considering the Rams have won three contests by more than 14 runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.
Regis got a massive performance out of Hadley Foster, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Mayla Manning, who went 2-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and one double.
The win got Central Linn back to even at 3-3. As for Regis, their record now sits at 4-2.
Central Linn might still be hurting after the 16-0 defeat they got from Regis in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. Can the Cobras avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
