The Altamont Longhorns's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their 13th straight loss. They were dealt a 70-32 defeat at the hands of Tabiona. Altamont has not had much luck with Tabiona recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
Tabiona got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Gavin Rhoades out in front who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 12 rebounds. Rhoades hasn't dropped below 15 points for four straight games. Another player making a difference was Chance Lazenby, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and three blocks.
Altamont's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Tabiona, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 18-3.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Rich the next time they take the court. Altamont will head out to face Rich at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Tabiona will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
