Onekama is 0-10 against Glen Lake since January of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. Last Tuesday, Onekama didn't have too much trouble with Suttons Bay on the road as they won 64-50.
Meanwhile, Glen Lake can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Tuesday. They claimed a resounding 70-25 win over Leland at home. The victory was nothing new for Glen Lake as they're now sitting on three straight.
Glen Lake found their leader in underclassman Jacob Plamondon, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. Plamondon hasn't dropped below 15 points for three straight games. Colebrook Sutherland was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Onekama has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-7 record this season. As for Glen Lake, their victory bumped their record up to 12-3.
Onekama ended up a good deal behind Glen Lake when the teams last played back in February of 2023, losing 51-35. Can Onekama avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
