Glenwood can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Friday. They put the hurt on Decatur Eisenhower with a sharp 57-35 win. Given Glenwood's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 67th, while Decatur Eisenhower is ranked 240th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Collinsville entered their tilt with O'Fallon with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. Collinsville came out on top against O'Fallon by a score of 58-48 on Tuesday.
Collinsville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jamorie Wysinger led the charge by scoring 23 points. Wysinger continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Nick Horras was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven assists.
Glenwood pushed their record up to 18-9 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points per game. As for Collinsville, their win bumped their record up to 25-3.
