The Jefferson County Warriors will venture away from home to  face off against the Bleckley County Royals  at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Jefferson County is looking for their season's first  win.

 Meanwhile, Bleckley County's game  on Friday was all tied up 14-14 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took  a  21-17 hit to the loss column at the hands of Washington County. The Royals have now  taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
 Despite the  defeat, Bleckley County got top-tier performance from   Kam'Ryn Everett, who rushed for 139 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries, and also threw for 173 yards and a touchdown. Everett's longest rush was for an impressive 64 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
 Even though they lost, Bleckley County was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 217  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Bleckley County wouldn't let Washington County keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force three fumbles. It was truly a group effort as  Jamaury Elvine,  Amarian Burns,  and  Burns picked up one apiece.
 Jefferson County's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Bleckley County, their defeat  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  dating back to last season and  brought them to 2-3.
 Jefferson County was taken down by Bleckley County 42-2 when the teams last played  back in October of 2023. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of  Bleckley County's  Joshua Stanley, who rushed for 97 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
