 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Morgan Lavanchy, who  scored a  run while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was  Ashton Elpers, who  went 2-for-3 with  an  RBI.
 Meanwhile, Southridge narrowly escaped with a  victory as the  squad sidled past Heritage Hills  1-0. Despite the  win, that was the fewest  runs Southridge has scored all season.
 North Posey is  on a roll lately: they've  won eight of their last ten contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record  this season. As for Southridge,  the  victory  made it two in a row for them and  bumps their season record up to 9-3.
