Mora has gone 8-2 against Penasco recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Rangers will venture away from home to face off against the Panthers at 3:00 p.m. Mora is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.2 runs per game this season.
Mora took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Saturday. Everything went their way against To'hajiilee as they made off with a 23-3 win. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Rangers as it put an end to their five-game losing streak.

Marcus Vigil was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Mora is 2-1 when Vigil allows two or fewer hits, but 1-7 otherwise. Vigil was even better at the plate, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two stolen bases, three runs, and three doubles. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Diego Atencio, who got on base in all five of his plate appearances with one home run, five stolen bases, and five runs. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in RBI (three). James Cruz was another key player, going 4-for-5 with three stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs.
Mora was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. They are 3-1 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, it was a proper cat-fight when Penasco faced off against McCurdy on Tuesday. The Panthers lost 11-1 to the Bobcats. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Penasco saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Xavier Noll, who went 1-for-2 with one double.
Mora's record is now 3-8. As for Penasco, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.
Penasco's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Mora hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .357. It's a different story for Penasco, though, as they've only averaged .259. Will they be able to contain Mora's hitters?
