Meanwhile,  after a string of eight wins, Northview's good fortune finally ran out  last Thursday. They fell  7-2 to West Covina.
  Reina Granados was cooking despite her team's loss,   going 1-for-2 with one  home run. Another player making a difference was  Bella Ochoa, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Northview's loss dropped their record down to 13-6-1. As for Covina, they now  have a winning record of 8-7-1.
