After flying high against the Spring Mountain Eagles on Thursday, the Sports Leadership & Management Bulls came back down to earth. Sports Leadership & Management fell to Boulder City 65-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
Despite the loss, Sports Leadership & Management still got an impressive performance from Noah Tomlin, who dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 rebounds. Andre Cade was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 11 points and 11 rebounds.
Among those leading the charge was Roman Rose, who scored 25 points along with 5 rebounds and 3 steals. Rose is absolutely dominating the steal category: he's posted at least two every time he's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Jack Walker, who scored 15 points along with 6 rebounds.
Sports Leadership & Management's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Boulder City, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.
Sports Leadership & Management will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Virgin Valley at 3:30 p.m. on December 2nd. As for Boulder City, they will face off against Lake Mead Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday.
