The Mile High Academy Mustangs will be playing in front of their home fans against the Front Range Baptist Falcons at 5:00 p.m. Mile High Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Mile High Academy is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Tuesday with ease, bagging a 63-17 victory over STEM School Highlands Ranch. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 22 points or more this season.

Mile High Academy found their leader in sophomore Addy Dodds, who went 8-for-20 on her way to 17 points in addition to eight boards and seven steals. Dodds is becoming a predictor of Mile High Academy's success: when she posts at least five steals the team is 10-1 (and 4-5 when she doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of Jazel McDaniel, who posted seven points and 14 rebounds.
Mile High Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 29 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in 19 consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Front Range Baptist beat Peetz 26-22 on Friday.
Front Range Baptist's win came from a few key players Mile High Academy will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Adelae Gamet, who had three points and six boards. Those six rebounds gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Abbie VanDenBerghe, who went 6-for-15 to rack up 16 points.
Mile High Academy pushed their record up to 14-6 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.3 points over those games. As for Front Range Baptist, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-15.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Mile High Academy has been smashing the glass this season, having averaged 35.7 boards per game. However, it's not like Front Range Baptist struggles in that department as they've been averaging 25 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
