Basketball Game Preview: South Baldwin Christian Academy Knights vs. Atmore Christian Rams

The South Baldwin Christian Academy Knights will head out to take on the Atmore Christian Rams at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

South Baldwin Christian Academy is coming into the match on the come-up as their season has now been buoyed by two straight wins. They came out on top against Lighthouse Baptist Academy by a score of 24-14 on Thursday.

South Baldwin Christian Academy got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Anna Kate Lee out in front who posted six points along with six boards and six steals. That's the most points Lee has posted since back in January of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Mya Jennings, who had three points in addition to six steals and five rebounds.

South Baldwin Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 13 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in seven consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Atmore Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They lost to South Baldwin Christian Academy on the road by a 26-7 margin.

Atmore Christian's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for South Baldwin Christian Academy, their win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-7.

South Baldwin Christian Academy strolled past Atmore Christian when the teams last played on Tuesday by a score of 26-7. The rematch might be a little tougher for South Baldwin Christian Academy since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
