Football Recap: Chester Picks Up Sixth Consecutive Win

Chester had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 19 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Friday. They walked away with a 29-19 win over the Nashville Hornets.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Chester to victory, but perhaps none more so than Tashawn Palacio, who picked up 106 receiving yards and one score. The dominant performance also gave Palacio a new career-high in rushing yards (24).

Chester didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Palacio and Player #2. Player #2 got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Chester's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Nashville, they dropped their record down to 5-4 with the loss, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coming up, Chester will be playing in front of their home fans against Maroa-Forsyth on Saturday. That contest will pit two of the most dominant signal callers against one another: Trayton Peters and Ryne Sheppard. Nashville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
