After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Coastal Christian HomeSchool, The Arlington Heights Christian Lions were happy to have found some success on Friday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 52-24 victory over Jubilee Brownsville. The result was nothing new for Arlington Heights Christian, who have now won five matchups by 24 points or more so far this season.
Arlington Heights Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kegan Setliff led the charge by rushing for 111 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries. Christopher Newcomer was another key contributor, picking up 100 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Arlington Heights Christian's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Jubilee Brownsville, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their overall record down to 2-4.
Arlington Heights Christian will be playing at home against Benavides at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Texas (Benavides is ranked 216th, while Arlington Heights Christian is ranked 200th).
