Lenape and Cherokee are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Indians will host the Chiefs at 3:45 p.m. on Friday. The two teams are sauntering into the matchup backed by comfortable wins in their prior games.
Lenape made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Shawnee, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Indians never let the Renegades get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Wednesday. With that win, the Indians brought their scoring average up to 7.5 runs per game.
Taliyha Milton made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and allowing only one hit over five innings pitched. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with three RBI.
