The Seymour Panthers had already won three in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41.3 points), and they went ahead and made it four on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Electra 44-6 on the road. The result was nothing new for Seymour, who have now won five contests by 26 points or more so far this season.
Brayden Loyd continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 438 yards and seven touchdowns while completing 76.3% of his passes. Loyd is on a roll when it comes to passing touchdowns, as he's now passed for three or more in the last four games he's played. Isaac Willden also helped out with an impressive 89 receiving yards.
Seymour has been no stranger to the win column this season, as they've started out with wins in six of their first seven contests, giving them a 6-1 record. As for Electra, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-4.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing Haskell the next time they take the field. Seymour will host Haskell at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while Electra will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th.
