The Moreau Catholic Mariners will take on the St. Bernard's Crusaders at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  point totals in their previous games.
 Moreau Catholic is headed in fresh off scoring the most  points they have all season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Tennyson 62-8. With that  win, the Mariners brought their scoring average up to 26.7  points per game.
 Moreau Catholic had a senior duo take command as  Jalen Arnold picked up 195 receiving yards and three touchdowns and  Jeremiah Charles threw for 231 yards and four touchdowns while completing 77.8% of his passes. Arnold is becoming a predictor of Moreau Catholic's success: when he posts  at  least 100  receiving yards the team is undefeated (and 3-4 when he doesn't). The team also got some help courtesy of  Jayden Bryant, who rushed for 82 yards and a touchdown on only 11 carries.
 Moreau Catholic wouldn't let Tennyson keep a hold of the ball as they managed to force two fumbles. Moreau Catholic can thank  Seth Evans and  Kaden Sewell for forcing both of them.
 Meanwhile, St. Bernard's was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight  defeat. They and Del Norte were almost perfectly matched up, but St. Bernard's suffered  a  33-32 loss.
 Despite their  defeat, St. Bernard's saw several players rise to the challenge and make noteworthy plays.  Tyler Hinrichs, who picked up 123 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground, was perhaps the best of all.  Trenten Hagler was another key passer, throwing for 234 yards and three touchdowns.
 Moreau Catholic has  been performing  well recently as they've  won five of their last six contests,  which provided a massive bump to their 6-4 record  this season. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 34.8 points per game. As for St. Bernard's, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.
