The Harbor Creek Huskies will face off against the Blackhawk Cougars on Monday. Harbor Creek will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.
Harbor Creek is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 10-3 margin over Elizabeth Forward. Considering the Huskies have won 12 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.
Addison Lucas made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she tossed seven innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off seven hits. Lucas was also big at the plate, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Lacie Fortin was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run and five RBI. Those five RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brooklynn Cipalla, who went 2-for-3 with two runs and one RBI.
Harbor Creek was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .387. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Elizabeth Forward only posted a batting average of .241.
Meanwhile, while Blackhawk put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Monsignor Bonner/Archbishop Prendergast Catholic. The Cougars had just enough and edged out the Friars 2-0.
The result came thanks to Kylie Prisuta's shutout, as she gave up just three hits and racked up 12 Ks.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Addy Ramer, who went 1-for-2 with one triple and one run. That triple was her first of the season.
Blackhawk's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Harbor Creek, their victory bumped their record up to 19-5.
Monday's contest will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Harbor Creek hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .382. However, it's not like Blackhawk struggles in that department as they've averaged .378. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
