The West Feliciana Saints were the 53-43 winner over the St. Michael Warriors when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. West Feliciana fell just short of St. Michael by a score of 50-48. That's two games in a row now that West Feliciana has lost by exactly two points.
Despite the loss, West Feliciana still got an impressive performance from Arieonia Ebbs, who scored 26 points. That was a full 54.2% of West Feliciana's points, marking the third time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sanaya Berry, who scored ten points.
This is the second loss in a row for West Feliciana and nudges their season record down to 11-13. As for St. Michael, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 9-13 record this season.
West Feliciana will head out on the road to square off against Brusly at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Brusly is coming into the contest with eight straight victories at home, so West Feliciana is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. St. Michael will take on McKinley at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
