Owen Redd Dazzles in Edmund Burke Academy Victory
Starting off the list is Edmund Burke Academy's Owen Redd, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Redd rushed for 164 yards and two touchdowns. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 94 yards.
Edmund Burke Academy's win was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 6-1. Redd and Edmund Burke Academy will take on Gatewood at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Charlie Mosley Has Career Rushing Day
Briarwood Academy picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Charlie Mosley. Mosley was unstoppable, rushing for 196 yards and a touchdown. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rushing yards.
Mosley is probably looking forward to his next game, a road matchup against Thomas Jefferson Academy on Friday. Mosley rushed for 188 yards and a touchdown while picking up 11.8 yards per carry, and also caught a touchdown the last time he and the Jaguars duked it out back in August of 2023.

Edmund Burke Academy Gets a Boost from Hickman in 48-7 Victory
The second Edmund Burke Academy player making an appearance here is Aden Hickman, and for good reason. He rushed for 69 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries.
For the year, Hickman has run in 10 touchdowns while averaging 109 rushing yards per game.

Mason Poss Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Mason Poss's big game helped extend Briarwood Academy's winning streak to six on Friday. Poss was excellent, rushing for 128 yards and a touchdown. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (103.2) per game. He also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, picking up a sack and making four total tackles.
On the season, Poss has averaged 37.4 receiving yards per game. It gets even more impressive: after five games last season, he had two rushing touchdowns. This year he is already up to five.
