The Legacy Christian Academy Knights had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They managed a 50-46 victory over Bradford on Friday. This was payback for Legacy Christian Academy, who suffered a 89-53 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Legacy Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Parker Burke out in front who scored 13 points along with 8 steals. Another player making a difference was Jacob Thompson, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 15 rebounds.
Legacy Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Bradford, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
