The Reed Point/Rapelje Renegades's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their eighth straight loss. They fell to Roberts 47-41. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Reed Point/Rapelje in their matchups with Roberts: they've now lost three in a row.
Several Renegades players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marshall Ulmer, who scored 12 points along with six assists and two steals. Axel Blodgett was another key contributor, scoring five points along with 16 rebounds.
Reed Point/Rapelje bumped their record down to 3-8 with that loss, which was their 13th straight on the road. As for Roberts, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-7.
Reed Point/Rapelje will be playing at home against Plenty Coups at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Plenty Coups' favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three matchups. As for Roberts, they will head out on the road to square off against Absarokee at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday.
