Boyer Valley had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They were given a punishing 0-41 loss at the hands of Ar-We-Va. Boyer Valley was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Ar-We-Va apparently hadn't forgotten their loss from the last time the teams met up. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Boyer Valley off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Ar-We-Va a 1-0 record.
Next week, Boyer Valley take on St. Mary's at 7:00 PM. As for Ar-We-Va, they will face of against Woodbine. Keep an eye on the score for this one : both teams put up some lofty point totals in their previous games, so things might heat up even more when they meet up next week.
