Diamond Ranch Academy (Hurricane, Utah) extended its winning streak to five games with a 41-21 victory over
Summit Academy (Bluffdale, Utah) on Saturday.
After taking the lead on a passing touchdown in the first quarter, the Diamondbacks led 21-7 at the half.
Diamond Ranch Academy expanded its lead to 27 points entering the fourth quarter. DRA scored two times in the third, including once on a punt return touchdown.
Hayden Henriod played well for Summit Academy. The sophomore tight end caught three touchdowns. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.
SA came in surrendering 11.1 points per game this season.
The defeat comes as a step back for Summit Academy, which notched a 28-0 victory over Layton Christian Academy in its previous outing.
