Kettle Run has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will face off against the Brentsville District Tigers at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Wednesday, Kettle Run took their game at home with ease, bagging a 54-5 win over Manassas Park.
Meanwhile, Brentsville District didn't have too much trouble with Millbrook at home on Monday as they won 46-30.
Brentsville District's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Payton Brown, who scored 18 points along with seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Riley Coombs, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Kettle Run's record now sits at 8-11. Brentsville District's record now sits at 14-7.
Kettle Run was taken down by Brentsville District 50-23 in their previous meeting back in January. Can Kettle Run avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
