Enumclaw waltzed into their matchup on Monday with 11 straight wins... but they left with 12. Everything went their way against the Decatur Golden Gators as they made off with an 11-1 win. That's two games straight that the Hornets have won by exactly ten runs.
Enumclaw got a great performance from Alyssa Harris as she struck out 14 batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Harris has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than eight strikeouts in 12 consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ava Lim was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four runs, one triple, and one stolen base. That's the most runs she has posted since back in May of 2024. Bella Aubrey also deserves some recognition as she launched her first home run of the season.
Enumclaw always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Decatur only posted an OBP of .211.

The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.2 runs over those games. As for Decatur, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 8-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Enumclaw will challenge Kent-Meridian at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
