Sharon had won five straight games and Emmalie Yobe did her part to make it six on Tuesday. The Tigers put the hurt on the Oil City Oilers with a sharp 3-0 win thanks in part to Yobe, who had ten digs, six kills, and six aces. Yobe is also crushing it when it comes to assists: she's posted at least 14 every time she's taken the court this season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-14.

Sharon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Alauna Wilson out in front who had ten digs and three aces. That's the most aces Wilson has posted since back in September. Naudia Csatlos was another key player, getting six aces.

They weren't the only good servers: Sharon was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 18 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Sharon's win bumped their record up to 12-4-1. As for Oil City, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-11-1.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Sharon is set to take on their familiar foe Slippery Rock at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Oil City will face off against rival Hickory at 7:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
