Holy Name won against North Olmsted on Wednesday with 15 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Thursday. Everything went Holy Name's way against the Normandy Invaders as Holy Name made off with a 15-4 victory. The win continues a trend for the Green Wave in their matchups with the Invaders: they've now won four in a row.

Reagan Vavro looked comfortable as she struck out six batters over 3.1 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.

On the hitting side, Ava Posa was incredible, getting on base in four of her five plate appearances with four RBI, two runs, and one double. Layla Williams was another key player, going 1-for-3 with four RBI, one run, and one double.

Holy Name's record is now 2-0. As for Normandy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Holy Name will head out to face off against Twinsburg at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Normandy, they are packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Cuyahoga Heights at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
