McDonald took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Mineral Ridge, who comes in off a win.
Last Tuesday, Mineral Ridge made easy work of McKinley and carried off a 52-32 win. With that win, Mineral Ridge brought their scoring average up to 50.3 points per game.
Mineral Ridge's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Chase Moore, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 14 rebounds. The game was Moore's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Landon Bingham, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 rebounds.
Meanwhile, McDonald came up short against Lakeview on Friday and fell 55-47. McDonald has not had much luck with Lakeview recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Mineral Ridge's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for McDonald, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
