The Raymondville Bearkats fell on hard times earlier this season, but after back-to-back wins it seems like their luck might finally be changing. They secured a 13-7 W over Bishop on Friday. For Raymondville, this counts as revenge for the 30-12 loss Bishop walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Raymondville's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Jaden Mendez, who rushed for 109 yards and a touchdown.
Raymondville's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Bishop, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-7.
Raymondville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Bishop also has no future games currently scheduled.
