Kylie Keenan was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over seven innings while giving up three earned (and two unearned) runs off ten hits (and not a single walk). She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one walk in three consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 3-for-4.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Quinn McFadden, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Tannar Keenan, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Fort Lauderdale pushed their record up to 6-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.7 runs over those games. As for Coral Glades, their record now sits at 4-6.
