Meanwhile, Lincoln-Way West beat Andrew 31-23 on Friday. Given Lincoln-Way West's advantage in MaxPreps' Illinois football rankings (they are ranked 50th, while Andrew is ranked 153rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hoffman Estates' win bumped their record up to 6-3. As for Lincoln-Way West, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season.
